Whether you are asking for further information regarding an actor or seeking representation, we are fully available by phone or email.

*** Seeking Representation ***

Is there a 'you' shaped hole in our books?

Our books are currently closed but we are keen to continue establishing a diverse stable of actors.

As such, we are seeking applications from:- lead male actors, actors of diverse heritage/ethnicity and actors who identify as disabled, non-binary, transgender, gender neutral or gender fluid.

Most importantly, we receive very few applications from actors identifying as male and with ethnic diversity. We are keen to redress the balance and hope to hear from you soon.

Simply email info@prideinperformance.co.uk with a brief introduction and ensure you include a link to your Spotlight CV. [Please be aware, we do not respond to direct messages via social media.]

PiP Recruitment Process

  1. How important is it for your agent to see your current work and acting style?
  2. How can you demonstrate this if you aren't actually performing right now?
  3. If there's a way to meet an agent without having to physically meet them, would you do it?

Our solution to 1, 2 and 3, and in order to create as inclusive a recruitment process as possible, is to undertake the following procedure irrespective of training, work experience or current employment, in order to provide a fair playing field for those performers wishing to act professionally but may not have had the socio-economic background to facilitate formal training, or, are professionals who are currently resting.

  • Please email us in the first instance, introducing yourself and giving links to your CV/Reels.

  • We will acknowledge this email and ask a few standard industry pertinent questions.

  • After considering your details thoroughly (watch reels/listen to sound clips and reviewed headshots), and if you make it to the second stage, we invite you to undertake your first professional working experience with us by creating a typical self-tape casting scenario. (Detailed help, advice and instructions are offered and we are always here to answer questions. Most importantly, it is not a test as even if you think you've done the best/worst tape in history (😂), we are keen to ensure that particular actor is more empowered for having taken part; no matter what the outcome.)

  • A free 1-hour session is booked with Sam Simmons, giving free feedback with industry standard hints and tips to making the best possible self-tape. (These days when offering a self-tape, actors are not just actors but a producer, director, lighting, sound, costume, make-up, hair... and after all that, you have to learn lines and make character choices, all prior to acting. Fear not - we are on your side!)
